Tyson Koopman

Tyson Koopman has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles within the technology industry. Tyson is currently the VP Sales, Americas at Accolite Digital since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they held multiple roles including Storage Business Development (GTM) Leader, Americas from July 2022 to December 2022, Country Sales Leader, Enterprise Acquisition - Canada from August 2021 to July 2022, and Director of Enterprise Sales, Western Canada from September 2018 to August 2021. Before joining AWS, Tyson worked at Softchoice as the District Sales Manager - Prairies (Alberta / Saskatchewan / Manitoba) from December 2014 to August 2018. Tyson also held positions at VMware as the National Sales Director, Services Sales And Solutions Architecture - Canada from December 2012 to November 2014, Dell as the Regional Sales Manager - Medium Business, Western Canada from November 2009 to December 2012, Compugen as the Practice Manager, Enterprise Server, Storage, and Solutions Group (ESG) - Alberta from February 2009 to November 2009, Quantum as the Pre-Sales Engineering Lead - Western Canada from 2007 to 2009, and Dell again as the National Manager, Professional Service - Dell SDC Canada from 2004 to 2007. Tyson started their career at GE Capital ITS as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Server and Storage - Western Canada from 2000 to 2004, and also worked at ExxonMobil Canada as a Systems Analyst - Unix and Storage from 1996 to 2000.

Tyson Koopman began their education in 1992 at The University of Lethbridge, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Economics and Geography. Tyson completed their studies at the university in 1993. Following this, from 1993 to 1997, Tyson attended Mount Royal University, where they focused on Business, Marketing, and Computer Technology. It is unclear whether they obtained a degree during this period.
