Guillermo Amador Plata has held multiple positions in various companies since 2007. At Veroma Ltda., they were a Developer, programming in Visual Studio, PHP, AS 2.0, and managing MySQL, SQL Server PostGress, Oracle, and Joomla. From 2008 to 2012, they were an Administrator Web at Agencia Marítima Transmares and a Jefe de Tecnología Informática from 2012 to 2015. During this time, they were responsible for all IT technology and was able to propose and implement changes in the organization based on the importance of data. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Gestor de Soporte de Aplicaciones at Seguros Mundial and an Ingeniero de Bases de Datos at Observatorio Colombiano de Ciencia y Tecnologia. At Eforcers S.A., they were the Director of Technology, where they were able to align a practice that grew by 30% year-over-year and collaborate to close business in SMB, Corporate, and Enterprise markets. Lastly, from 2018 to present, they have been the Head of Infrastructure Unit LATAM - Google Cloud at Xertica. In this role, they have been able to accompany organizations in making decisions, simplifying cloud technology adoption, and understanding the importance of cost control.
Guillermo Amador Plata has a varied educational background. Guillermo obtained an Ingeniero de Sistemas degree from Universidad de Boyacá between 2001 and 2007, followed by an Especialista en desarrollo de bases de datos degree from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano between 2012 and 2014. Guillermo is currently enrolled in the Programa de desarrollo directivo PDD at INALDE Business School, which they began in 2021. In addition to their educational degrees, they have also obtained several certifications, including ITIL Version 2011 from APMG-US LLC in 2014, Professional Cloud Architect from Google in 2020, Professional Cloud Security Engineer from Google in 2021, Scrum Fundamentals Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in 2019, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google in 2020, Google Associate Cloud Engineer from Google in 2019, and G Suite Administration from Google in 2017.
