Yaseen Zafar ☁

Yaseen Zafar has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering and system support. Yaseen started their career as an intern at SUI SOUTHERN GAS COMPANY in 2013. Yaseen then worked as a Resident System Support Engineer at Jaffer Brothers (Pvt) Limited, providing services at CMPak Zong Limited. In this role, they installed, troubleshooted, and configured various systems, networks, computers, Cisco devices, printers, and software.

In 2017, Yaseen joined Contour Software as a Junior Network Support Engineer. Yaseen was responsible for providing local IT user support, managing and administering network firewalls, and monitoring the daily activities of local network systems.

Yaseen later worked at Cloud Coherence as a DevOps Engineer. Here, they implemented CI/CD using AWS CodePipeline for deployment of serverless microservices and frontend apps. Yaseen also administered and monitored AWS cloud infrastructure and secured serverless stacks and other AWS resources.

After that, Yaseen joined Agency Partner Interactive as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, they managed dedicated and shared cloud servers, performed server management through WHM and CPANEL, and worked with LAMP and LEMP web service stacks.

Currently, Yaseen works at IDS - Integrated Dealer Systems, a Constellation Software Inc Company, as a DevOps Engineer. Yaseen'sresponsibilities include managing operating systems, infrastructure, and web servers.

In 2023, Yaseen will be joining Xgrid.co as a Software Support and DevOps Engineer.

Yaseen Zafar completed their education in a chronological order. Yaseen first attended Defence Authority Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed College from 2008 to 2010, where they received a High School degree in Pre-Engineering. Afterward, from 2011 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering at Sir Syed University.

Following their undergraduate studies, Yaseen went on to enroll at NED University of Engineering and Technology, where they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering specializing in Computer Networks and Performance Evaluation. Yaseen attended this university from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Yaseen also obtained multiple certifications. In 2014, they completed a certification in Embedded Systems Design from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. Yaseen further expanded their knowledge and skills by acquiring several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, including AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials in various domains such as AWS Architecture, AWS Core Services, AWS Integrated Services, AWS Security, Introduction to the AWS Cloud, Pricing and Support. Additionally, Yaseen obtained a CCNA Routing and Switching Training certification from CTTC (Pvt) Ltd. in 2015 and attended the World of Networking Conference organized by the same institute in 2015. Lastly, they completed a Docker for the Absolute Beginners certification from KodeKloud in 2020.
