Julian Jacobson

Julian Jacobson is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in piano performance and instruction. Serving as Chairman of the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe since December 2014, Julian holds professorships at the Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal College of Music in London, where involvement extends back to 2000. Additionally, Julian is a Guest Professor at Xiamen University and has a distinguished history as a freelance conductor, composer, and pianist since 1950. Notably, a piano duo with Mariko Brown debuted at the Purcell Room in Southbank on April 1st. Earlier, Julian was Head of Keyboard Studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama from 1992 to 1996.
