Andrew Wu

Andrew Wu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical industry. Andrew currently holds the position of VP, Mechanical Engineering at XII Medical since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as VP R&D at ReCor Medical from July 2018 to May 2022. Andrew also worked as a Principal at Next Step Med Product Development from September 2013 to July 2018. Andrew Wu co-founded Ziva Medical and held the position of Co-Founder and VP R&D from September 2013 to December 2017. Their previous roles include Senior R&D Manager at Medtronic/Ardian from January 2011 to August 2013 and Director, R&D at Ardian, Inc. from June 2006 to January 2011. Andrew Wu started their career at Guidant (ACS/Vascular Intervention), Percusurge, Radiant Medical, and CardioMind, where they worked as a Process & Product Development Engineer/Manager in the Operations and R&D departments.

Andrew Wu completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Andrew then pursued further education by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, attending from 1996 to 1998.
