Bhavesh Patel has an extensive work experience in technology and leadership roles. Prior to this, they worked as a Cybersecurity Advisor at California State University, Chico.

Bhavesh also held the role of VP, Software, Analytics, Mobile at Outset Medical, Inc., where they played a key role in the company's growth from Series B to a successful IPO. Before joining Outset Medical, Bhavesh was VP, Product Development, Mobile and Big Data at Asurion, where they led a technology transformation to support over 300 million customers. Prior to Asurion, Bhavesh served as Vice President, eCommerce Labs at TJX, where they built and launched a new eCommerce website and operations. Bhavesh developed eCommerce and m-commerce capabilities from scratch using cloud and SaaS technologies.

Earlier in their career, Bhavesh worked at Walmart Global Ecommerce as Vice President, Engineering, where they played a pivotal role in developing a highly scalable multi-billion dollar eCommerce platform. Bhavesh led a large team across multiple global development centers and oversaw all software development for the website, backend systems, mobile, and data analytics.

Bhavesh's work experience also includes roles at Ventro/Chemdex as a Director, where they contributed to the development of B2B marketplaces with a SaaS model, and at Yogi Tech Corp. as Founder and President, where they provided consulting services in large-scale data analytics for clients such as Charles Schwab and Intuit.

Their early career experience includes working at Verizon Communications as a Technical Lead, where they developed asset management software and managed a team of developers.

Bhavesh Patel has a strong educational background in the field of computer science and engineering. In 1985, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat. Bhavesh went on to pursue further studies and received a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 1991.

Afterwards, Bhavesh gained practical skills and knowledge by obtaining certification as an Oracle Certified DBA from Oracle.

Continuing their education, Bhavesh pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Science at Temple University from 1992 to 1993.

In 2006, Bhavesh attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for a brief period, studying Executive Financial Analysis.
