Travis Spoor

Travis Spoor has a diverse work experience in various companies. Travis is currently working at XII Medical as a Principal Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Ranir for 7 years, starting as a Senior Designer and Engineer before becoming a Design Manager. During their time at Ranir, they played a crucial role in developing private-branded electric oral care products, improving customer satisfaction and increasing profitability. Travis also established the Experience Design Center of Excellence, which focused on creating innovative solutions that meet customer needs and enhance product aesthetics.

Before joining Ranir, Travis worked at Steelcase as a Product Engineer, where they led the development and successful launch of the Empath medical recliner. This project generated significant sales and involved designing and documenting various components.

Earlier in their career, Travis worked at Stryker Medical as a Design Engineer, where they were responsible for engineering complex medical devices and overseeing testing phases. Travis also served as the lead engineer on the hospital furniture team, contributing to the successful launch of the MGDG hospital suite.

Travis also gained experience at Innotec, where they served as an Engineer and played a key role in leading the research and development team. Additionally, they had a brief internship at Wieland-Werke AG.

Travis Spoor has a diverse education history. Travis attended the University of Michigan from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in German at the University of Michigan. From 2008 to 2014, Travis attended Kendall College of Art and Design, specializing in Industrial Design. In 2017, they attended Ferris State University for a short period and earned a Master Certificate in Design and Innovation Management.
