Kevin DeMent

Kevin DeMent has a strong background in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK). Kevin is currently the Director of DMPK at XinThera Inc. since January 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Takeda from 2017 to 2021, including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist in the DMPK field. Before Takeda, Kevin worked at Genentech as a Senior Research Associate in the pharmacokinetics and transport group of the DMPK department from 2014 to 2017. Kevin started their career as an Associate Scientist at Theravance, Inc. where they focused on investigating ADME of multivalent compounds from 2005 to 2014. Kevin also has experience as a Graduate Student Researcher in Pharmacology at U.C. Davis from 1999 to 2004.

Kevin DeMent attended the University of California, Davis from 1994 to 1998. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry during this time.
