André Santos has a diverse background in IT and technical support. André started their career as a Network and Helpdesk Support Technician at Eka, where they provided hardware and software assistance and trained new staff members. André then worked as a Data Telecommunications Technician at Inforloc and Embratel, where they planned network installations and participated in the installation and maintenance of internet and datalink connections. At the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Bahia, they served as an Information and Communication Technology Leader, participating in main IT operations and contributing to the institute's renewal program. André also gained experience as a Field Technician at Capgemini, managing router and switch installations. Prior to that, they were an IT Technician Leader at UFSB - Federal University of Southern Bahia, overseeing IT operations and building the university's IT infrastructure from scratch. André also worked as an IT Consultant at CGI, providing technical support and resolving software, hardware, networking, and remote connectivity issues. André'smost recent roles include working as a System Administrator at Dynamaze Inc, where they performed technical support and maintained IT documentation, and currently as a Technical Support Engineer at XipLink Inc, where they support and sets up test, development, and IT networks, upgrades and migrates cloud and local systems, and tests the features of the XipLink WAN optimization product line.

André Santos has a diverse education history in the field of information technology. In 2006, they obtained a Telecommunication Technician certification from CIP. In 2007, they earned a Furukawa - FCP Fundamental certification from Furukawa. Later, in 2008, they completed an Intensive English as a Second Language program at Northampton Community College. In the same year, they pursued a degree in Programming from Kapiʻolani Community College. Additionally, they studied English Language and American Culture at Northampton Community College in 2008. Continuing their education, they attended Honolulu Community College in 2008 and 2009, focusing on Network Administration. In 2010, André earned a DEC in System Analysis from Unopar. In 2012, they received a First Circle Certificate in Networking from ESAB. André furthered their studies at ESAB and obtained certifications in IT Project Management, IT Governance, and Introduction to IT Governance in 2012. In 2015, André obtained a certification in Server Virtualization from ESCOLA SUPERIOR DE REDES. In 2016, they certified as a Pfsense Specialist Professional from Vantage. Most recently, in 2017, they obtained an AEC degree in Network and System Administration/Support/Helpdesk from Montreal College of Information Technology. André is currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Network and System Administration/Administration from the same institution.
