Josef Scharfen

Josef Scharfen has a diverse professional background, beginning in 2001 as a Ski Instructor for K + K Ski School. In 2005, they worked as a Sales Representative and Student Intern for Southwestern Company. From 2006 to 2011, they held various positions including Assistant Project Manager for CESES - Center for Social and Economic Strategies, Center for Security Policy, Team Assistant for McKinsey & Company, and Consultant/Intern for the Parliamentary Institute in the Czech Republic. In 2012, they co-founded Europe Imported LLC, a company specializing in management consulting and market entry strategies. From 2011 to 2017, they served as Advisor/Project Manager for the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the United Nations and Director of US Operations for XLAB Realtime. Since 2017, they have been the Chief Executive Officer of Hydra Consulting LLC.

Josef Scharfen obtained their Master of Arts degree in International Relations from Charles University in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations from Charles University in 2009.
