Robb Zimmerman has worked in the engineering industry for over 18 years. robb began their career at Peavey Electronics in 2002 as a Power Amplifier Design Engineer. In 2005, they joined Harman International as a Senior Engineer, Audio Hardware, Automotive Division, where they were responsible for hardware design of DC-DC converters, multi-channel audio amplifier systems, and IVI. In 2013, they moved to Unwired Technology as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer. In 2015, they founded the Ice Cream Plant, a food business startup in Detroit to manufacture and wholesale allergy-friendly plant-based ice cream. robb was responsible for product development, production, and sales, and grew the business to 50 grocery and restaurant customers before selling. In 2016, they founded Argent Labs Design Consulting. In 2018, they returned to Harman International as a Principal Hardware Engineer. In 2020, they joined LG Electronics as a Principal Hardware Engineer, Emerging Technologies. robb currently works at xMEMS as a Principal System Engineer.

Robb Zimmerman received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Michigan State University between 1996 and 2000.
