Thilanka Sirimanna

Thilanka Sirimanna is a seasoned maritime professional with a diverse background in navigation and maritime management. Currently serving as a USV Pilot at XOCEAN since March 2023, Thilanka also holds the position of Chair for the Younger Members' Council at The Nautical Institute and works as a Marine Surveyor & Consultant at The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Thilanka is a Director at Trio Ventures PVT LTD and has previously held academic roles as a Lecturer and Head of the Department of Navigation & Survival at the Lanka Academy of Technological Studies until March 2023. With experience as a Chief Officer at OVERSEAS PETROLEUM & SHIPPING LTD and various navigation officer roles, including a tenure at Wallem Group, Thilanka has developed expertise in maritime operations. Thilanka's educational qualifications include an MBA in Maritime Management from Solent University and a Class III in Nautical Science from the Lanka Academy of Technological Studies.
