Co-Founder & Satellite Lead at Xona Space Systems

Jerami M. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. In 2019, they co-founded Xona Space Systems and served as the Satellite Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Pumpkin, Inc. as a Mechanical Design & Systems Engineer starting in 2012.

Jerami also had experience at Crosstrac Engineering in 2012, where they worked as an Engineer. In this role, they developed laser measurement tools, translated atmospheric density models, created SolidWorks models, and developed stellar thermal models.

Before joining the professional world, Jerami worked as a Student Image Developer at Stanford University from 2011 to 2012, and as a Research Assistant at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography from 2009 to 2010. Jerami also worked as a Project Member at Microgravity at UCSD from 2009 to 2010, and as a Program Coordinator at AIAA at UCSD from 2008 to 2009.

Jerami's work experience began with independent research as a Researcher at UCSD in 2008.

Jerami M. completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from UC San Diego from 2006 to 2010. During the same period, they also pursued a minor in Fine and Studio Arts at UC San Diego. Subsequently, they attended Stanford University from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Aeronautic and Astronautical Engineering.
