Rachel Domagalski

Rachel Domagalski is a highly skilled Flight Software Engineer currently at Xona Space Systems since October 2025. Previously, Rachel served as a Software Engineer at Astranis, where responsibilities included developing software interfaces for ground TTC modems and microcontroller firmware for satellite payloads. As a Systems Engineer at Cobalt Robotics, Rachel created a data collection and analysis pipeline for robots utilizing ROS and Python, while enhancing Linux OS security. Rachel's academic background includes a Master's degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Toronto, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and experience as a graduate student researcher and teaching assistant at both institutions. Rachel's early research involvement includes roles at Berkeley Lab and the University of California, Davis, where significant contributions to astrophysics and nuclear physics projects were made.
