Paul Pasternak

Paul Pasternak is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and defense industries. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Vehicle Development at Xos Trucks since May 2022, Paul Pasternak led a team of 20 engineers in the successful development and launch of the pioneering Battery Electric Step Van, marking XOS's first positive gross margin vehicle. Prior to this role, Paul Pasternak spent over a decade at Navistar Defense, where notable achievements included overseeing critical engineering programs and design enhancements that resulted in significant contract wins. Early career experiences include key roles at BAE Systems and Chrysler, where Paul Pasternak honed skills in survivability engineering and product validation, respectively. Paul Pasternak holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Oakland University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
