Cristiano Ayres

Cristiano Ayres serves as the Executive Director of Banking Products at XP Inc. since June 2023, following a significant tenure as CEO of Banco Modal from July 2001 to July 2023. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at Banco Mundial in 2004-2005 and an auditor position at PwC from 1999 to 2001, specializing in the audit of financial institutions. Cristiano holds a degree in Economics from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and a Master's in Economics from Ibmec. Further education includes a postgraduate degree in Business Management from Harvard University and a course in Disruptive Innovation in Finance from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
