Lucas Rabechini Amaral

Lucas Rabechini Amaral has a diverse work history in the financial industry. Lucas started their career at Itaú BBA as a Market Risk Analyst in 2008. Lucas then moved on to roles at Bulltick as an Algorithm Developer, Souza Barros Câmbio e Títulos as a Quantitative Analyst, and Princeton Alpha Management LP as a Quantitative Trader. Lucas joined XP Inc. in 2015, where they held various positions, including Director of Financial Products and Head of Equities and Derivatives. In 2020, they became a Member of the Advisory Risk Committee at B3, and in 2023, they took on the role of President of the Advisory Equities Committee at B3.

Lucas Rabechini Amaral pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics at Instituto de Matemática e Estatística - Universidade de São Paulo (IME-USP) from 2005 to 2008. Lucas then attended New York University from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Science in Financial Engineering. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science in Operations Research at Columbia University from 2020 to 2022. Lucas concluded their education with the Owner/President Management Program (OPM) at Harvard Business School from 2022 to 2024.
