Zaid Atto

Zaid Atto has a diverse range of work experience in the biomedical engineering and healthcare fields. Zaid is the Founder & CEO of Xpan Inc., a position they have held since November 2017. Zaid also participated in the CDL-Toronto Biomedical Engineering Cohort in 2022/23 as part of the Creative Destruction Lab. From 2021 to 2023, Zaid served on the Commercialization Advisory Committee at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.

During these roles, Zaid received awards, funding, and became a second author of a research publication for their work on the development and validation of microfluidic devices.
