Carlos Moreira

Carlos Moreira has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Carlos started their career as a part-time Barman and Sales Manager in 2004. In 2006, they became a student of Informatics Engineering at Universidade do Minho and also worked as a Software Developer at Nokia Siemens Networks in 2011. Carlos then worked as a Web Developer Freelancer at ACIJE from 2010 to 2011. Carlos joined LCH.Clearnet in 2012 as a Business Intelligence Engineer and stayed there until 2014. Carlos then transitioned to JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Business Intelligence Engineer, where they handled technical decisions, ETL solutions, and coordination of team members. Since 2016, Carlos has been with Xpand IT, starting as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant and progressing to roles such as BI Team Lead & Project Manager and Data Analytics Engineering Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Data Analytics Engineering Director and Division Manager at Xpand IT.

Carlos Moreira attended Universidade do Minho from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a degree in Informatics Engineering. Carlos also obtained a Tableau Certified Associate Consultant certification from Tableau in June 2022.
