Pedro Gonçalves

Pedro Gonçalves is a Co-Founder and the Chief Technology Officer of XPAND IT. Pedro has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, working in various countries such as Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, and Spain.

Pedro started their career in 1999 as a Senior Consultant for CompuQuali GFI. In this role, they worked on various projects for clients such as Vodafone Portugal and the Portuguese government. In 2006, they moved to the UAE to work as a Project Manager for du, a major telecom operator. Pedro was responsible for managing the team that provided up to 100 interfaces to access more than 15 systems.

In 2008, they returned to Portugal to work as a Technical Architect for CelFocus. In this role, they were responsible for the Architecture Definition and Implementation of a system to support integration between Siebel CRM and backend systems.

In 2010, they co-founded XPAND IT, a software development company that specializes in providing innovative solutions to its clients. As the CTO of XPAND IT, they are responsible for leading the technical team and overseeing all aspects of the company's technology.

Their manager is Paulo Lopes, Partner & CEO. They are on a team with Sérgio Viana - Partner & Digital Xperience Lead, Francisco Costa - Partner & Enterprise Solutions Lead, and Ricardo Pires - Partner & Business.
