Rui Maia

Rui Maia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources, project management, and consulting within the technology sector. As Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Partner at Xpand IT since December 2004, Rui is dedicated to fostering an EPIC culture and enhancing the company’s core values. Rui has played a key role in managing IT projects and client relationships in various capacities at Xpand IT, and previously held significant positions at Brisa, Vodafone, and Sybase, where responsibilities included managing document management systems and leading teams for various IT projects. Additionally, Rui serves as a Board Member and Partner at Balwurk and is the Founder and CEO of Shortest Path. Rui holds a degree from Instituto Superior Técnico.
