Jeffrey Berman

Jeffrey Berman has a diverse work experience in the energy and climate finance industry. Jeffrey is currently a Member of the CAD Trust Technical Committee at Climate Action Data Trust. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Registries and Business Development at Xpansiv in 2023. Jeffrey also served as a Consultant at Climate Finance Partners (CLIFI) in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, they held the position of Director of Energy Transition Analysis at Rapidan Energy Group. Before that, they worked at S&P Global Platts as the Director of Emissions and Clean Energy Analytics from 2016 to 2021. Jeffrey also had multiple roles at PIRA Energy Group, including Director, Senior Analyst, and Summer Analyst, focusing on emissions and clean energy. Jeffrey began their career as a Research Assistant at MDRC from 2006 to 2009.

Jeffrey Berman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2005. Jeffrey then went on to complete a Master of International Affairs degree in International Energy Management and Policy at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) from 2009 to 2011.
