Inga Plavane

Inga Plavane has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Inga began their career in 2012 as a Sales Administrator at Disneyland Paris on a seasonal contract. In 2013, they worked as a Personal Assistant to the CEO at HansaWorld. In 2014, they served as a Brokerage Department Assistant and Junior Consultant in the Residential segment at Colliers-International, and later that year, they returned to HansaWorld as a Personal Assistant to the CEO once again.

From 2015 to 2018, Inga worked at TransferWise as part of the EU Operations team. Inga'sresponsibilities included acting as the first point of contact for external partners, collaborating with customer support and compliance teams to address customer issues, conducting investigations related to problematic payments, identifying areas for improvement in payment operations, and coordinating partnerships with new payment partners. Inga also played a role in product testing and troubleshooting, account reconciliation, liquidity management, and maintaining internal documentation.

In 2019, Inga took a sabbatical leave before joining xpate as a Business Development Executive. In this role, they contributed to the company's growth by building strategic partnerships and driving business expansion.

In 2021, Inga took on a new challenge as part of the team working on xpate's new product called xpate Stacks. As the Head of Partnerships, they played a crucial role in shaping internal processes and frameworks, managing banking partners, leading projects with payment schemes and card schemes, and overseeing client onboarding and account management. Inga also supported the board of directors, managed vendors, supervised company audits, and collaborated closely with the engineering team for product development.

Inga Plavane earned their Bachelor's Degree in European Business from Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration, completing their studies from 2009 to 2014. Inga also attended Alliance Française in Biarritz, France in 2011 to study the French language at the B1 level. In the same year, they participated in the International Business Programme at Université catholique de Lyon. In 2006, Inga attended Torbay Language Centre in Paignton, UK, though the degree and field of study are unknown. Additionally, Inga has obtained multiple certifications, including a Certificate in Business Administration (Level 3), Certificate in Marketing (Level 3), Certificate in Practical ICT Skills (Level 3), Diplôme de Français Professionnel- Affaires B2, English for Business CEF C2 (Level 4), PADI Advanced open water diver, and Spoken English for Industry and Commerce CEF C2 (Level 4).
