Shiladitya Biswas

Shiladitya Biswas is a Localization System Engineer at XPENG since September 2022, focusing on end-to-end algorithms for automated parking and intelligent high beam systems. Previously, Shiladitya was an R&D Software Engineer at Material Handling Systems, Inc., contributing to the vision team. A graduate from UC San Diego with a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Shiladitya conducted research on algorithms for object tracking and mapping in the Existential Robotics Lab. Shiladitya has also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for multiple robotics courses and has research experience from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Additional involvement includes coordinating workshops at the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, and participation in a scientific workshop organized by JBNSTS. Shiladitya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and attended BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN and The Indian Community School in Kuwait for early education.
