Katie Sokalsky

Katie Sokalsky has an extensive work experience that spans from 2007 to 2021. Katie began their career at PwC in 2007 as a Manager in the Financial Services Practice in Toronto, Canada, with a focus on banking and capital markets. Katie also participated in numerous roles outside of standard work requirements. In 2012, they founded ChefButler and served as CEO & Founder. In 2015, they joined Goldmoney as Chief Financial Officer & Head of Operations. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Scotiabank in various roles, including VP, Digital Product Management, VP, Digital Products & Retail Payments, and Director, Digital Commerce. Most recently, in 2021, they joined XpertSea as Chief Executive Officer and President & COO.

Katie Sokalsky obtained a BComm in Accounting and Finance from Queen's University. Katie also studied Business and Economics at the Maastricht School of Management. Prior to that, they completed their High School education at the University of Toronto Schools. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from the Institute of Certified Professional Accountants.
