Melissa Yunker, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Melissa is currently the VP People & Culture at Xpress Natural Gas, where they are responsible for driving a world-class employee experience and achieving business objectives. Prior to this, Melissa served as the Sr. Director of HR Field Operations at Thorntons Inc., where they played a key role in building and executing the Retail People Plan in the field. Melissa also held the position of Director of Human Resources at Thorntons Inc., where they provided HR leadership and support to directors and regional managers. Melissa previously worked at Yum! Brands as a Human Resource Growth Partner and as an Area Coach for Taco Bell Corp. Melissa also served as the General Manager at Warehouse B and held various roles at Best Buy, including District Manager and District HR Manager. Melissa began their career as a General Manager at American TV. Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated expertise in talent management, performance management, employee development, and strategic HR initiatives.

Melissa Yunker, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resource from Excelsior University. Melissa attended Excelsior University from 2015 to 2018. Melissa also pursued higher education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 1983 to 1986, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided. Additionally, Melissa holds an SHRM-SCP certification from Bellarmine University.
