Kelsey Hanson is the SVP, Marketing & Communications at XpresSpa Group. Kelsey has over 13 years of experience in branding and marketing, with a focus on the retail and CPG sectors. Kelsey has a proven track record in developing brand strategy, conducting market research, and leading creative teams to develop innovative branding and packaging solutions.

Kelsey began their career as a Senior Designer at Starbucks, where they worked on a variety of teams responsible for developing core brand assets, retail and CPG packaging, in-store marketing materials, and collateral for both the Starbucks and Teavana brands. Kelsey played a key role in several transformational initiatives for Starbucks, including the 40th Anniversary Brand Days project, a 60,000 sq ft exhibit that brought the new Starbucks branding to life for all global partners in 2011. Kelsey also developed the My Starbucks Rewards product and branding, which became the largest global gift card program and evolved into the Starbucks mobile app.

In November 2019, Kelsey joined Tilray Brands, Inc. as Creative Director. In this role, they developed brand strategy for the retail team for the Canadian recreational cannabis market. Kelsey led all demographic and trend research, concept development and creative naming, visual identity and retail design concepts. Kelsey directed all branding efforts and led a team of internal and external vendors. The position was ended as the organization was dissolved due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
