Betsabeh Madani-Hermann

Betsabeh Madani-Hermann serves as the VP and Global Head of Research at Philips, focusing on groundbreaking innovations and global partnerships since January 2022. Additionally, Madani-Hermann is the Vice President and Head of Strategy and Business Development for Connected Care at XPRIZE and is involved with the Eindhoven MedTech Innovation Center as a Brain Trust member. Madani-Hermann holds an Adjunct Professor position at The University of British Columbia, teaching Tough Tech Innovations. Extensive experience includes co-founding and directing startups and leading roles in organizations such as the Global Covid Taskforce, Equicare Health, Cerner Corporation, and Boston Consulting Group. Educational achievements include an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and multiple degrees from The University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria, covering diverse fields such as physics, biochemistry, and mechanical engineering.
