Azeez Alli

Azeez Alli serves as the Chief Product and Design Officer at XQ Institute since February 2024, leading a cross-disciplinary team to drive innovation and educational transformation. Prior experience includes roles such as Head of Product Design at XQ Institute, where Azeez established the product design function and focused on user-centered educational tools. Azeez co-founded Árokó Cooperative in May 2020 and held positions at Netflix as Principal Product Designer, where design for globalization tools was optimized for international markets. Additional expertise includes serving as Senior Advisor for The Institute of Black Imagination, Founder & Creative Director of Critical Discourse in Design, Lead Product Designer at IBM, and Design Director at Script Health. Azeez's educational background includes a Master of Science in Industrial Design from ArtCenter College of Design and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
