Jeanie Lee

Jeanie Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Jeanie is currently the Chief Program Officer at XQ Institute. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Partnership Expansion at XQ Institute. From 2017 to 2022, Jeanie worked at DC Public Education Fund as the President & Executive Director. Before that, they were the Director of Strategy and Operations at Scholastic from 2016 to 2017. From 2011 to 2016, they held the position of Chief of Staff at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). Jeanie also has experience as the Director of Education at Fight For Children from 2007 to 2011 and as the Executive Director at Washington English Center from 2005 to 2007. Jeanie started their career as a Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools, Newton Public Schools, and Pasadena Unified Public Schools from 1999 to 2005.

Jeanie Lee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Boston University, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Jeanie then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Education from The Johns Hopkins University, completing it from 2002 to 2004.
