Patrick Parato

Patrick Parato has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Most recently, they worked as a Cryptocurrency Entrepreneur at The Bloom Protocol from January 2021 to April 2023.

Prior to that, Patrick worked at Cognizant Microsoft Business Group (formerly New Signature) from March 2019 to October 2020. At this company, they played a significant role in leading complex sales pursuits for the Microsoft Business Group globally, collaborating with Cognizant and Microsoft executives, directors, and technical leads.

Before joining Cognizant Microsoft Business Group, Patrick served as the National Account Director at Datavail from January 2018 to March 2019. In this role, they led large sales pursuits for Oracle, Amazon/AWS, and Microsoft enterprise technology professional services and managed services. Patrick successfully closed significant deals, generating substantial revenue for the company.

From March 2017 to March 2018, Patrick worked as a Principal Sales Consultant at Forecast Rainmaker. During this time, they engaged with various companies and played a key role in increasing revenue, improving pipeline, and winning proposals. Notably, they worked with a healthcare IT start-up, VitalHub Inc., and successfully positioned them to present at the 2017 Microsoft HIMSS Innovation Theatre.

Prior to Forecast Rainmaker, Patrick held the position of Vice President of Sales at Dapasoft from May 2013 to March 2017. Patrick'sresponsibilities included sales leadership and driving revenue growth for the company.

Patrick's earlier experience includes working at Navantis as a Healthcare Territory Senior Executive from June 2008 to May 2013. In this role, they developed the annual strategy, managed a team, and achieved substantial growth. Patrick also closed significant deals, including a province-wide implementation with CritiCall Ontario.

Before Navantis, Patrick worked as a Senior Sales Executive at Medworxx from January 2004 to May 2008. Patrick also had a brief stint as an Independent Software Consultant from February 2003 to January 2004.

Patrick began their career at ONTARIO TEACHERS’ PENSION PLAN BOARD, where they served as a Technical Team Leader from May 1997 to February 2003.

Patrick Parato attended Carleton University from 1993 to 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in the field of Computer Science.
