Sofia Neto Canário has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Sofia began their career as an Information Manager and Information System Management at Multicert from 2005 to 2010. Sofia then worked as an Information Management Consultant, leading projects utilizing Alfresco Enterprise Content Management technology, and held the role of Head of Information Management, Process Management, and Communication Departament from 2010 to 2013. Sofia later became the Head of Organization Departament - Information Management & Process Engineering until 2016.

In 2016, Sofia joined Xpand IT as a Governance Manager and Scrum Master for Collaboration & Development Solutions. Sofia later took on the role of Collaboration & Dev Solutions Manager (Atlassian) until 2020.

In 2015, Sofia founded Donate IT, a Portuguese non-for-profit community aimed at using technology for social good in other non-for-profit organizations.

Currently, Sofia is working at Xray by Xblend since 2020. Sofia has served as the Head of Ecosystem (Product) Experience for Xray, focusing on improving the product experience for customers, partners, and the community. Sofia now holds the position of Director of Customer Success, where they act as the voice of the customer, advocates for their needs, and enables resources and practices that enhance the product experience. Sofia is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction and finding solutions to their testing management challenges.

Sofia Neto Canário's education history is as follows:

- From 1997 to 2000, they attended Escola Secundária Sá da Bandeira and obtained a 12th-grade degree in Humanities.

- In 2002, they enrolled at Universidade do Porto and studied Information Science until 2006 without obtaining a degree.

- Additionally, Sofia received certifications such as Product Owner Open Assessment from Scrum.org in 2022, Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in 2021, and Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator and Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator from Atlassian in 2017.
