Dov Kliger

Dov Kliger has a diverse and extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Dov is currently working at Xsight Labs LTD as a Backend (Physical Design) professional, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Application Engineering, EMEA at proteanTecs from July 2021 to August 2022. In this role, they led various projects involving the integration and implementation of proteanTecs IPs into customer chips, encompassing architecture, DFT considerations, RTL integration, verification, physical implementation, signoff, and test patterns.

Before joining proteanTecs, Dov worked at Cadence Design Systems for a decade. Dov held the positions of Application Engineering Director from July 2015 to June 2021 and Senior AE Manager from November 2011 to June 2015. As Application Engineering Director, they led two large teams responsible for Cadence tools evaluation projects and customer support in digital implementation and sign-off for semiconductor companies in Israel and Russia. Dov received recognition as Cadence EMEA AE Manager of the Year in both 2018 and 2020.

Prior to their tenure at Cadence, Dov worked at DSP Group for over a decade. Dov served as Backend and Infrastructure Team Manager from April 2008 to November 2011, where they managed a team of eight engineers and oversaw the RTL2GDS flow using Synopsys/Ansys tools. Additionally, they held the role of SoC Project Manager in the Chip Design Department from February 2005 to April 2008, leading full SoC projects from marketing requirements to post-silicon stages. Dov also received recognition as an Outstanding Manager in 2006.

Dov's earlier roles at DSP Group include Team Leader in the Chip Design Department from January 2001 to February 2005 and Design Engineer in the Logic Design Department from June 1997 to January 2001.

Dov Kliger began their education in 1988 at the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET), where they studied Electronics and Microelectronics. Dov attended MIET until 1991, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree during this time. In 1994, Dov Kliger enrolled at Tel Aviv University and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dov completed their undergraduate degree in 1998. Returning to Tel Aviv University in 2019, Dov Kliger pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Coller School of Management. Their field of study during their MBA program was Management of Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MoTIE). Dov completed their MBA in 2021.
