Troy Istre has over three decades of experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the General Manager at XstremeMD since March 2011, where the organization specializes in telemedicine with a focus on emergency and occupational medicine. Previously, Troy held various roles at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center from 1991 to 2001, including Director of Operations and Clinical Information Systems Specialist II, in addition to serving as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department and Hospital Supervisor. Earlier in the career, Troy worked as a R.N. Flight Nurse and Paramedic at Acadian Ambulance from 1984 to 1996. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from Louisiana State University Eunice and a Nationally Registered Paramedic certification in Emergency Medical Technology from Acadian Ambulance.
