Based on his strong background in mathematics, he is also an ace at solving complex problems, from low-end coding issues to the global aspects of system architecture. Among his many achievements are: the development of one of the early search engines; the first ActiveX DVD player built together with Microsoft; invention, patent and implementation of Photags which enabled erasable captions on JPEG images and was sold to Smith Micro; patent of AnyLync technology.
