Mattheo Shapira

Mattheo Shapira is the Co-Founder and CXO at Xtend, a immersive reality/sports company. Mattheo was previously the Senior Director of Innovation & Technology | Immersive Reality/Sports | freeD at Intel Corporation from May 2016 to December 2017. Prior to that, they were the CGI Supervisor/Creative Director at Primus Design & Animation from January 2003 to December 2005.

Shapira has also been involved with the Shapira Brothers Foundation and Replay Technologies. Mattheo was the Head of CGI / CG Supervisor at Animation Lab from January 2007 to July 2011, and the VFX/CG Supervisor at various companies from October 2004 to December 2006.

Mattheo Shapira is a Sr. Instructor at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in the field of CGI/Animation.
