Alan Proudfoot

Alan Proudfoot is a System Engineer with extensive experience in the field of fibre optic technology, currently employed at Xtera since February 2011. Prior to this role, Alan Proudfoot worked as an EngD Research Engineer at BAE Systems from October 2006 to January 2011, focusing on WDM Commercial Fibre-Optic Technology for Aerospace and Defence applications. Alan Proudfoot holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of St Andrews and an MSc in Photonics and Optoelectronic Devices from Heriot-Watt University.
