David Park

David Park is the CEO, CISO, & Partner at Xterra Inc. David has over 20 years of experience in the IT field.

David started their career at Littler Mendelson in October 2002 as the Senior Manager of Enterprise Architecture. In this role, they oversaw the global technology infrastructure for the company which included 1,800 employees in 56 sites. David managed a team of IT professionals and had an $8M annual budget that included a $3M Microsoft Enterprise Agreement.

During their time at Littler Mendelson, David led design and engineering projects across enterprise infrastructure involving the extension and application of systems and network engineering principles and concepts. David also determined vendor strategy, core networking, virtualization, storage, hosted and cloud services, application strategy, and collaboration platforms. Some of their notable projects include a WAN redesign, datacenter outsourcing, and desktop/user virtualization for greater mobility and resiliency for employees across networks, platforms, and devices.

In April 2012, David left Littler Mendelson to start Xterra Inc. Xterra Inc is an IT company that specializes in energy efficiency through information technologies. The company has helped many businesses save money by reducing their energy consumption.

David Park has a Bachelor's degree in Music and Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. David also has a certification from VMware in VMware Certified Professional 5 Data Center Virtualization and another certification from VMware in VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization. In addition, David Park is certified from Dell in Dell Certified Professional and from EMC in EMC Centera Administration. David is also certified from Microsoft in Microsoft Certified Professional and from Symantec in Symantec Enterprise Vault.
