Ian Bjorhovde

Ian Bjorhovde has worked in the IT industry since 1995. Ian began their career as a Systems Administrator at the University of Arizona in 1995. Ian then moved to American Express in 1996, working as a Consultant. In 1999, they became a Principal Consultant at DataProxy LLC. Ian has been with XTIVIA, Inc. since 2019, currently serving as the Lead Db2 DBA and Delivery Manager.

Ian Bjorhovde attended the University of Arizona from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a BS in Materials Science & Engineering. Since then, they have obtained a number of certifications from IBM, including IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 11.1 for Linux UNIX and Windows in 2016, IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 10.5 DBA for LUW in 2014, IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator - DB2 10.1 for Linux, UNIX and Windows in 2012, IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator - DB2 9.7 for Linux, UNIX and Windows in 2010, IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator - DB2 9 for Linux, UNIX and Windows in 2007, and IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator - DB2 8.1 for Linux, UNIX and Windows in 2003.
