Yoshi Okubo

Yoshi Okubo is a Principal and founding team member at East Ventures Growth Fund since March 2018, where the venture capital arm focuses on growth-stage investments in pioneering companies across Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia. Under Yoshi's leadership, the fund has invested in notable unicorns such as Tokopedia, Traveloka, Gojek, and Xendit. Additionally, Yoshi serves as an investor and board observer for several companies, including ALAMI, Xurya Daya Indonesia, Bibit.id, Mekari, KoinWorks, and Fuse, while also acting as a portfolio manager for companies like Sendo.vn and Tokopedia. Yoshi holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Carleton College and attended Georgetown Preparatory School.
