Dietmar Schnabel

Dietmar Schnabel has a strong background in software development and consultancy, with a focus on the banking sector. Dietmar has held various roles throughout their career, including Chief Technical Officer at XVA Blockchain GmbH, where they designed Smart Derivative Contracts software and provided consultancy services to banks, insurance companies, and aerospace firms. Prior to that, they worked as an independent software consultant, implementing front-to-back trading systems and conducting Java development, risk analysis, and margin reporting. Dietmar also served as a Senior Technical Analyst at Calypso, where they successfully delivered complex systems and managed large projects. Dietmar has experience in project management, Calypso implementations and upgrades, and performance tuning. Dietmar has also worked at Allianz, Deutsche Bank, and DER Deutsches Reisebuero GmbH & Co OHG in technical consulting and team lead roles.

Dietmar Schnabel obtained a Doctor of Physics (PhD) degree in Theoretical Nuclear Physics from Goethe University Frankfurt in 1993.
