Botao Hu

Botao Hu has work experience as an Algorithm Engineer at XYZ Robotics Inc since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Control Software Engineer at Neocis Inc from July 2018 to June 2020. Before entering the industry, they worked as both a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from September 2014 to July 2018. Botao also held similar positions at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from September 2013 to May 2014.

Botao Hu has an extensive education history in engineering. Botao began their academic journey at Harbin Institute of Technology, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from 2007 to 2011. Building on this foundation, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completing it from 2011 to 2013. Seeking further specialization, Botao then enrolled at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they successfully earned their PhD in Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2018.
