Chauncey Hamilton

Chauncey Hamilton is a Partner at XYZ Ventures. Prior to this, Chauncey was the COO of Dorm Room Fund from January 2019 to March 2020. Before Dorm Room Fund, Chauncey was a Partner Operations Manager at First Round Capital from December 2013 to January 2019.

Chauncey started their career as a Special Projects Manager at WIRED from February 2011 to December 2013. Chauncey then worked as an Associate to the Vice President & Publisher, WIRED Magazine, at Conde Nast from August 2009 to February 2011. Chauncey began their professional journey as a Sales Intern at Thrillist from May 2009 to August 2009. Prior to that, they were a Corporate Outreach Intern at The Theirtory Channel from June 2008 to August 2008. Chauncey's first internship was at Valentino, where they worked in PR from June 2007 to August 2007.

Chauncey Hamilton attended Trinity College-Hartford for their BA in Theirtory. Chauncey then attended St. Paul's School.
