Emily Flaesgarten

Emily Flaesgarten is the current Search Director at Y Scouts. Emily has over eight years of experience in a variety of roles in the financial and recruiting industries.

Emily started their career as an intern at the American Lung Association. Emily then worked as an administrative clerk and sales associate at Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. In 2016, they became a financial representative at Western & Southern Financial Group. There they participated in continuing education courses to keep up to date with compliance and FDIC guidelines.

In 2018, Emily transitioned to the role of senior search consultant at Reneris. In this role, they were responsible for full cycle recruiting; from developing the source environment and candidate pipeline to offer negotiation and post recruitment check-ins to ensure a seamless transition for both client and candidate.

Emily has now been with Y Scouts for over a year as their Search Director. In this role, they are responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing potential candidates for leadership roles within purpose-driven organizations.

Emily Flaesgarten earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from Baldwin-Wallace College.

They work with Deborah Shaw - Search Director, Brian Mohr - Co-Founder, and Christine Pazmino - Search Director. Emily Flaesgarten reports to Max Hansen, CEO & Co-Founder.
