Samy Vasutheva

Samy Vasutheva, CPA, CGA, currently serves as the VP - Controller at Ya YA Foods Corp. since June 2022, having previously held the position of Director of Finance/Controller at Upper Canada Soap & Candle Makers from December 2018 to June 2022. Samy began a career in financial analysis at Costco Wholesale Canada, with a tenure from February 2017 to December 2018, and also worked as a Financial Analyst at CWB Group for a brief period in 2016. Prior experience includes significant roles at Church & Dwight, Co., Inc., where responsibilities involved accounting, reporting, and compliance, among others, spanning from 2008 to 2016. Earlier roles also feature positions at Elmer's Products, Inc. Samy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce from Laurentian University and completed the CGA program in Accounting and Finance in Ontario. Additionally, credits in French studies were earned at Université de Montreal.
