Harsimrat Singh Sandhawalia

Harsimrat Singh Sandhawalia has over a decade of work experience in various roles. In 2007, they worked as a Summer Intern at ENST. In 2008, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer and MS Intern at INRIA Rhone Alpes and a Computer Vision Engineer at Mamigo. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at Xerox Research Center Europe. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Robotics Engineer at Carnegie Mellon University (NREC). From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at EyeEm. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Apple. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Tech Lead - Computer Vision/Machine Learning at Daimler AG, where they scaled the data collection (mapping) pipeline and was a partner speaker at UNITE2019 and a contributor to Moabitcoin. In 2020, they became a Co-Founder at Yaak.

Harsimrat Singh Sandhawalia completed their high school education at Guru Nanak Public School, Ludhiana from 1991 to 2003. Harsimrat Singh then attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Engineering (Power) from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they attended the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from 2008 to 2010.
