Maroun Bassam Maroun

Maroun Bassam Maroun is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in research and development, software engineering, and infrastructure design. Currently serving as VP of R&D at Yaballe since October 2024, Maroun previously held the position of Founding Head of R&D at HAAT Delivery where the focus was on technological innovation and team development. Maroun's background includes roles at proteanTecs as a DevOps Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to microservice-based platforms and development of tools for enhanced productivity. Additional experience includes senior positions at Salt Security, Stratoscale, Taykey, and SintecMedia, with a strong expertise in Java, Python, Scala, and AWS technologies. Maroun earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
