Stuart Salzberg

Stuart Salzberg currently serves as the Director of Community Partnership & Volunteer Engagement at Yachad since February 2022. Prior to this role, Salzberg co-presided as CEO of L & M Bargain Store from 1994 to 2021, where direction was provided for a multistore retail business specializing in children's clothing and household goods, along with oversight of human resources, strategic planning, purchasing, and marketing initiatives. Between 1987 and 1994, Salzberg contributed as the Youth Director and Adult and Senior Program Facilitator at Temple Emanuel of Newton, focusing on program development and staff supervision for a large Conservative synagogue. Earlier experience includes working as a Social Worker at the New England Home for Little Wanderers from 1987 to 1990, providing therapy for children and families. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religion with a focus on Special Education from Brandeis University.
