Ben Thornton

Ben Thornton has extensive work experience in the technology field. Ben is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Opex Technologies, where they are responsible for providing technology direction and support to both the company and its clients. Prior to this role, Ben held the position of Vice President of Technology at Opex Technologies from 2017 to 2019.

Before joining Opex Technologies, Ben worked at Yadkin Bank as the Director of IT Projects and Network Architecture. From 2012 to 2014, they served as the Director of Information Systems & Technology at VantageSouth Bank. Prior to that, Ben held the position of VP of Information Technology at Keysource Commercial Bank from 2011 to 2012.

Ben's career in technology started at Micro Medic, where they worked as a Senior Network Engineer from 2007 to 2010.

Ben Thornton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio, Television and Film from Biola University in 2003. Ben further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Technology Systems from East Carolina University in 2011.
