Evan McMillan

Evan McMillan is currently the Head of EMEA Statutory Accounting at Yahoo, where they lead the EMEA statutory accounting team. Previously, Evan served as a Senior Manager and Accounting Manager within the EMEA statutory accounting team, specializing in financial statement preparation and liaising with external auditors. Evan also held a managerial role at Grant Thornton Ireland, focusing on statutory preparation and process improvement, and worked as an Assistant Manager at PwC, leading audit teams. Earlier in their career, Evan was a professional footballer with Sligo Rovers FC, competing in various leagues while also obtaining coaching qualifications. They hold a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master’s degree in Accounting from UCD and Michael Smurfit Business School, respectively.
